Morgan and Nick's story is unlike any other I've heard. When I first heard how they became them, my jaw dropped and I said, "wow that's destiny!" Nick looked over at Morgan with the softest look and said "yeah, destiny" with smile.
These two literally melt my heart.
In March of 2012 Morgan, all the way from Indiana, made way on spring break vacation with her family. Her parents took a quiet and shy Morgan to a teen fling party, Where she didn't quiet know anyone. Hanging out around the side lines, Morgan noticed to her side an equally uncomfortable Alabama Boy.
Morgan bravely said Hello and the rest is pretty much history for these wall flowers.
Over the years they've stayed in touch, meet up again on other spring breaks, but this fling wasn't just for spring. Fast forward to 2016 they were still just as fond of one another. They had their first date, then later knew this was there happily ever after.
But it doesn't stop there. They get even cuter guys, let me tell ya!
Morgan and Nick stayed strong through Nicks basic training in the Army. Through letters and occasional phone calls their love grew even stronger. When meeting with both of them I learned that a day after their wedding, Nick and Morgan were off to Hawaii! But not for what you may think. This trip to Hawaii they would not be returning home from.
With 3-4 bags max of luggage each, Nick and Morgan were on their biggest adventure yet. Nick has been based in Hawaii, where they will be waiting comfortably in a hotel for a few days on news of their NEW HOME.
So in the matter of a week, they have gotten married, moved over an ocean, AND gotten a new tropical home. This was Morgan's first plane ride, and both of their first steps into a wonderful new adventure.
I am so excited to stay tuned to their lives and watch it all play out. They are living a wonderful dream! I will never forget sweet Morgan's smiles on their wedding day. Morgan is the most relaxed, yet organized bride I've ever had the honor of photographing.
I always say to my brides not to fret over time lines because normally they are behind schedule. It's never a huge deal, when brides are fashionably late. I hate to see them worried. But what made this wedding so different then any other wedding I've shot is not only how on time everything went, but how early and easy it went! We had time to breathe! It was a fun day for every person involved.
Weddings like this and couples like sweet Morgan and Nick, are the glue and foundation to my love and purpose behind being a photographer.
I am so blessed to be able to meet people like Morgan and Nick, and share their special day with them. Tears are flowing from my face just writing this!
Its is not a job, but an honor with the sweet clients that I have.
