You may have a balance in your head of what your wedding is going to cost in total. This balance could range between 3000, to 8,000. Maybe even more. So where do you spend this hard earned cash? I'm going to brake down where to spend the most of your budget to insure that you have the most perfect day on your wedding day.

The venue is going to be location where you spend the entire day. This may be a church and reception hall to follow, or a all out made wedding day venue in one. Which ever it is, its the most important place to spend that budget. Let's talk about why!

The venue is going to make your photo's look stunning, it'll be the backdrop to your day. Having a beautiful, meaningful venue can make all the difference. A venue should come with a venue director, this person is going to house you on the most important day of your life. It's important that they care and work well with you for your day to go smoothly and breezy!

A beautifully kept venue can make life so much easier when it comes to decorating and adding your personal touches. Thus saving you money in all of those table pieces and wedding decorations.

2. The Dress

You've done prom, or homecoming, well now here comes the most important dress in your life, The Wedding Dress. This is the ONE time you get to ware this beautifully crafted, one of a kind, all you, wedding gown. You should be in love with your dress. You should feel powerful and radiant, poised and pure. Make sure the dress is all that you dreamed and more!

3. The Photographer

I swear I am not being biased, okay maybe just a little! I just know how important wedding photos are! After the last piece of cake is eaten, and all the thank you cards are sent, the last thing standing is your memories. Sadly some memories and details fade away, but since you hired the best, detailed orientated, photographer in town you have every special moment and more frozen in time to enjoy for generations to come.

One of the biggest regrets I have with my wedding photos is I didn't get one photo of just me and my husband looking at the camera posed, smiling, to frame in our home and give to our family members. Sure I love my creative, beautifully crafted images! I just wish I had one strong portrait to hang in my home for my future generations of family to enjoy and remember. I know that one day our great grandchildren will learn about Arie and I's adventurous story of eloping, and look back on those images to envision it.

We can not go back to that moment and change it, we have lost that image forever. So as my therapy you could call it, I make sure each and every client of mine gets that photo, and more. A photograph is such a powerful thing, it can make your relive a feeling, and moment. A photograph can tell a story. Your wedding day collection will tell a detailed story of the day you merged as one, and the love you share for each other.

Your photographer should fully understand, and cherish the meaning of capturing your biggest day yet.

So spend a little extra on finding the photographer who will love you just a little bit better. Who will deliver you your story and all it's beautiful, frozen in time, memories. This person is going to follow you around for hours, make sure you can see them in your getting ready room, with your brides maids, and your family on the most important day of your life.
