There are a lot of options for all different kinds of wedding vendors. Some Venues come with your caterers, and your cakes. Some venues have decorators and photographers even. The venues with connections like that can be very helpful in planning your wedding day.

One thing I find important in booking a vendor is that you can really picture the vendor as a guest on your wedding day. That the vendor is someone who has a like personality as you, and will take care of you on your big day. There are three key points to picking out vendors.

Team Player

Your vendor should have your best interest in mind. They will be able to get know you and help provide the service and product that best suits you (and your budget). If your venue is a barn and neither of you are very country people, the right team of vendors can make the wedding more you with style and decor.

You should feel excitement with your vendor.

Budget fitting

You want the very best for your wedding in your vendors, and you can have that in every price point. Finding the vendor you fits with your budget and your style is a key ingredient in your perfect wedding day recipe.

First impressions

How friendly were they? Did they refer to you by name or as " Dear bride-to-be" Being able to tell if it was an automated response or a genuine heart felt paragraph that they took the time to write, can determine how hard they are willing to work for you. For me it's more then just business. I know that I experience a number of weddings, but I know for my clients their wedding is THE wedding. Each wedding is special and requires the same amount of nurturing as my own would. It's not just business, its serious business!

If you are really puzzled or down to two options and can't decide which direction to go, check out their recent clients! The recent clients invested with them and could best tell you what to expect! Be sure that whoever it is you ask, is as like minded as you as possible. Hint: Maybe ask the most recent client, a client from 2 years ago might have gotten a different experience then what the vendor offers now.

Vendors can bring a lot of value to your wedding day. The right Caterer, DJ, Baker, Florist, Planner, photographer, or venue can help make your day everything you dreamed it of being.
