Our First Anniversary

I cannot believe it's been a entire year since Arie and I eloped in Colorado. It feels like just last week we were hand in hand exploring the mountains together. I cannot wait to go back. For those of you who don't know, Colorado is my state of choice. Arie and I hope to live there one day in our dream home.

Arie and I have been together since 2012. He has been my very best friend since we met in 2010. Our story is of two high-school sweethearts who fought through it all together. After all the hard work, laughter, tears, and joy we've made it all the way to our first year of marriage. Now we have our very own home, dog, and careers.

Arie is my second shooter after a year of going to weddings with me and learning my work, and I hope some day for us to take off and really make a life out of this. Arie is my hero, he works day in and day out so we can be happy in our home. There isn't a Kate without the Arie, or an Arie without a Kate. From nights out, to weekends shut in relaxing, there is no one else I could want to do life with.

It's all about who you wanna eat tacos with for the rest of your life, and luckily Arie makes a mean taco!
